HALF MARATHON

The half marathon course serves up incredible views of the Cascades and Monkey Face. There is one full service aid station with about 2500ft of climbing. 90% of the course is on single-track trails. Without a doubt, this trail half marathon has the best views of any in Central Oregon.

COURSE MAP

The race starts at the grassy area near the parking lot and then utilizes the following trails/road in the following order: Rim Rock Trail, access road, cross bridge, Misery Ridge Trail, right on Mesa Verde Trail, left on River Trail, cross bridge, access road, right on Rim Rock Trail, Rope De Dope Trail, access road to bridge, cross bridge, left on River Trail, Summit Trail, right on Burma Rd, Wolf Tree Trail, cross bridge, access road, Rim Rock Trail..to FINISH!

AID STATIONS

There is one full service aid station with multiple food items to choose from. All Alpine Running events are cupless, so be sure to bring a cup with you.

PARKING

Due to limited parking at the Smith Rock State Park, all participants must park off-site at DD Ranch. Parking will be FREE. A FREE shuttle will leave every 15minutes beginning at 5:30am on race morning. The last shuttle will leave DD Ranch at 8am. Please bring a change of clothes with you in a bag. The bag must have your bib # and full name on it. Bags will be stored at a designated location at the start/finish area. The shuttle will pickup and drop off at Smith Rock State Park in front of the portable toilets. The shuttle will leave the State Park every 30 minutes.

Directions to DD Ranch from Terrebonne.

  • We love our 4-legged family members, but no dogs are allowed due to permit conditions.
