ACCOMMODATIONS

All are welcome to camp for free at the start/finish (Walton Sno Park) area the weekend of the races. Walton Lake campground is nearby and sites are reservable HERE for a fee. Dispersed camping information can be found HERE, If camping isn't for you, the nearest lodging options are in Prineville, about 45 minutes from the start/finish. 

PACKET PICKUP

Bib pickup will be the morning of race at Walton Sno Park

50K: 6:00am-6:45am

10.5 Mile: 7:00am-8:45am

 

POST RACE

Food & beer will be provided by Ochoco Brewing. It is free to racers and volunteers. Food & beer is available for friends/family for a fee.

 

AWARDS/PRIZES

We will have great awards from our sponsors to the top 3 female/male finishers in each race.

UTMB QUALIFYING RACE

The 50K is a UTMB qualifying race and worth 2 points.

 

MISCELLANEOUS

 

The Ochoco Trail Runs is a CUPLESS event. Please come prepared with your own cup/bottle. 

 

Please be aware the race is on a multi-use trail and you may encounter horses, mountain bikers, etc. 

 

Cell service is very limited and therefore most of the area does not have service at all.

This race is held under a special use permit -and in partnership with- the Ochoco National Forest. In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, Alpine Running, LLC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
