

The 50K course consists of a single loop comprised of 80% single track trails along with a mix of two track and dirt road. There are 3 full aid stations. Elevation gain is ~6000ft with the same amount of loss. The average elevation of the course is 5500ft with a high point of 7000ft (summit of Lookout Mountain) and a low point of 4000ft (at aid station 1). You have 10 hours to complete this amazing loop in the Ochoco Mountains!

AID STATIONS
Aid stations will be fully stocked with the usual food: GU products (Roctane electrolyte dink, gels), PBJs, chips, cookies, Bob's Red Mill bars, coke, ginger ale, water and other misc goodie items. Depending on weather conditions, all will have a hot item to eat and/or drink.
MANDATORY GEAR
Due to this being a mountain race, the following items are required to be carried by all runners. Please don't ask if you can go without. This is the honor system, so please carry the items.

The road up to Aid Station 2 is a bit bumpy and on a dirt road. Any car can make it, just go slow. It is located about a mile off the main, paved road.

DROP BAGS
There are no drop bags. However, if you have crew, your crew can provide you with items.
